EVO Edge Sienna Davis makes ODP Regional Team Selection

Sienna Davis is a midfielder/Forward for 05 EVO EDGE. She has recently been selected to the USYS West Region Pool. She is a freshman at Millard West High School.

Sienna Davis is Going Places. The 05 EVO EDGE striker accepted an invite to Sauginaw, MI last summer to try to break into the USYS/ODP Region 3 Team. She battled through a challenging week of 2 a day field sessions, classroom sessions, individual and team meetings with one of the strongest player pools in a 12 state area. Turns out she has the right stuff, and her travels are only beginning. Davis received official word last week that she has been named to the Olympic Development Program’s West Region Pool. By making the regional pool, she is now eligible to compete in inter-regional competitions, with the chance to be selected to the national team pool. Congratulations on your selection Sienna!!

In addition to 05 Edge’s ever increasing college showcasing schedule and their cup aspirations, Davis may have to book her ticket to Boca Raton, FL in November for the ODP inter-regional. From there she has a chance to be selected to the national training center, as well as make the international travel team to England in February. Good luck Sienna! Evolution Soccer Club is proud of you!

Comments from Girls Director of Coaching Taylor Haynes

"I am very very happy for Sienna and her family! She is one of the original Edge team players and has been striving for excellence year over year. Her time is coming! I'm most pleased with the fact that she is representing the club so well. She and her family have been strong supporters of the Evolution development program since the beginning. In addition to being a big part of the Edge team, Sienna has put the work into her game and made herself successful. That is truly how players develop. Keep going Sienna! "
