Ari Galván

Boys Director of Coaching

Coach Ari, a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, has been immersed in soccer his entire life. He moved to Nebraska in 2013 to attend Hastings College, where he played for one year before transferring to Robert Morris University in Chicago, ultimately completing his education at DePaul University. With over 10 years of coaching experience across multiple levels, Ari holds a USSF C License, a Bachelor’s in Education from DePaul University, and a Master’s of Science in Coaching Education with a concentration in Soccer from Ohio University.

Ari’s passion for the beautiful game is evident in his words: “Everything I am today is thanks to the sport, the coaches, and the colleagues I was fortunate to have.” Known for emphasizing player development and teamwork, he is dedicated to creating a supportive, challenging environment where players can excel. “My background in education has helped me align teaching, and coaching. This has allowed me to build player-centered programs focused on development,” he says.

Since joining Evolution Soccer Club in November 2023, Ari has been enthusiastic about the club’s strong Nebraska roots. “There’s tremendous potential at Evolution, and everyone here cares deeply about every individual we get the chance to work with,” he shares. “Soccer has always been a huge part of my life, and I’m eager to share my passion and knowledge with future Evolution players.”

Ari is especially thankful to his wife, Whitney Galván, for continually challenging and supporting him, and to his daughter, Rianna Galván, for embracing his love of the game. He also extends gratitude to Evolution’s leadership for trusting him to help guide and grow the club to new heights.
