Ed Meitzen

Meitzen's coaching highlights include winning the NJCAA national title in 2022-23 as the Goalkeeper coach for Iowa Western Community College Women's soccer team and starting the men's and women's soccer programs at Southeast Community College in the fall of 2020 as Assistant/Goalkeeper Coach. Other coaching stops included Nebraska Christian College and Nebraska Wesleyan University.

Meitzen is currently the Director of the Nebraska Olympic Development program, Region II ODP 2012 Girls Assistant Coach, National ODP GK Coach, Head Girls Coach at North Star High School in Lincoln, Neb., Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator at College of Saint Mary, and he is very excited to be joining Evolution Soccer Club.

Coaching Education is a passion of Meitzen - he currently holds his United States Soccer Federation C License, United Soccer Coaches National License and Goalkeeper Level 2. He is studying to be certified to teach USSF coaching licenses courses.

As a player Meitzen played for Capital Soccer Association, Lincoln Southeast, and Doane University.
